Guys, I'm going through something kinda stupid. I can't tell for sure if my Tulpa wants something because he wants it or because I want it. about something really sensitive, and his answer is going to define our relationship, so what do I do? How can I convince myself it's his answer to.
Loaded, you're interested in them and the answer is important.
Early tulpa barely have a personality or opinions, so for really big stuff like that you're asking for big thought from a small pool.
If you do they will shape their personality arround whatever answer they give you anyway, so I dont consider it such a big deal, a lot of the process is tipically determined by this kinds of random choices.

I would argue thought that you might be causing yourself an emotional investment that you might lose on the future, but that would also be the case for a normal non-tulpa relationship, just a bit different.
This is my opinion, but it's better to just consider them that way from the start if you do go that way.
Asking questions a tulpa isn't able to answer is typically pushing you into "doubt it's real" mode. You get an answer, but you'll continually feel it was you and be unsure.(edited)
In which the tulpa will instantly get the hability to respond to such questions.
7:54 PM
That might require you already having a really strong belief in the state of your tulpa tho, so unless you are sure they are capable to answer I would actually advise against it given what Reguile said.
I believe most tulpa creation process is confabulation, and that it is both acceptable and good. Also its not like normal developed human beings dont confabulate either.
7:57 PM
In any case, it will be settled at some point, but as Reguile said, that question seems to be pushing into "doubt" territory for you. If it wasnt, you woudnt be asking what you asked in the first place.(edited)
Tbh, I think most of the human mind is confabulation. The brain makes up explanations, images, etc., based on what we think is true, not what is actually true.
The thing is that you cannot know when you are confabulating. But its something healthy brains do frequently. The brain just generates a plausible explanation for its own actions and stuff like that.(edited)
The most important thing in tulpamancy is to be comfortable with your system. It's nothing inherently wrong with having 10 tulpas. And tulpas don't have to be equal with development, activity time etc.
I think your solution to go separate ways makes sense. Given your system structure, just "not seeing each other" makes sense. If you miss them, you can always contact them later
Is there anything preventing me from working on visualizing my tulpa's form while he is asleep?
Perhaps a symbolism trick might help. I have an idea but any excuse to look at his form while he's resting should work:
I'm wondering if you can create a device that pulls up almost a "headmate profile" of sorts for your system. Something like this:
10:38 PM
10:40 PM
When you pull up Alex's profile, you can look at it like a rendered 3d model. You can also swipe the "screen" for any other forms he has.
He may wake up initially to see what you're doing on your symbolism "device", but after that he can go back to sleep or cuddle with you if he wants while you're looking at his form
Should I listen to the "Tulpa creation hypnosis v2" video? (the one by Gearheart)
Since the video said its rewatchable I was thinking of doing the MK Ultra grindset and watching it for a few consecutive days and see where that leads to.
Will it have any negative effects on the tulpa developing though?

Hypnotic files could help you achieve dissociative experiences, including those of tulpa talking back to you. But core tulpamancy isn't about dissociation but developing relationship with your tulpa. In that respect, helpers like hypnotic files are nothing but distraction.
What most people understand as "Tulpa becoming vocal" is about your ability to dissociate, not tulpa's development as a person. The experience of tulpa talking back by themself is nothing more, nothing less than dissociation. You can experience that with characters you don't plan to develop as tulpa too.
2:28 PM
The tulpa themself is like a character from a book. The difference is how you are interacting with that character directly and not isolate them from reality in some fictional setting.
Well, about that... I think the main potential drawback of helpers like hypnotic files when you try to achieve dissociation using them, is that it might make your ability stay dependent on that helpers. And if you depend on dissociation in spending time with your tulpa (which you should also reconsider), it might make your tulpamancy overall dependent on that helper too.
And about forcing: just do what you like with them and fantasize about them. You don't need to dissociate first to shape them and create their personality. Some people want to dissociate first aka "first make tulpa vocal and let them choose as much as possible". But it's only creating an illusion, your mind shapes your tulpa, whether you do it consciously or not.(edited)
So what’s y’all’s opinion on using art to help a tulpa establish presence? I kinda let the progress I made fade a little, still haven’t heard a voice but I know he’s still there. I lose focus with narration, I’ve decided to check on him every time I check the time. I started a sketchbook of exercises and concentration. Do y’all think using art is a good method to see progress with?

Well, it certainly won't hurt to draw you talking to them. The most important thing to establish a bond with your tulpa is spending time together in a way you enjoy it.
Is there a method that uses the random shapes you see when your eyes are closed? Last night I had my tulpa change some of the shapes to answer my questions? Is that an actual recognized method?

Also i tried the pendulum with one of my necklaces, I need to practice more with that….

Well, I need glasses, so when my eyes are closed everything is out of focus. I can see shapes, some caused by lights, some probably eye floaters. So, what I did is asked my tulpa to make a certain shape appear in the blurry dark of my closed eyes.

There’s probably an established name for the shapes seen when eyes are closed. I don’t know it.
